who. A project about crowdsourcing and crowdfunding strategies for independent italian film makers. Following the example of successful platforms such as Indiegogo and Kickstarter, Cineama refines the basic methodology of asking people to finance a production, and extend it to some stages of pre-production such as writing, casting and building the movie’s mood. Unleashing the power of a highly motivated community, it plans to release its first productions by the end of 2012.

A series of LED totems to show the main findings emerging from an extensive study by Censis, the Italian institute for socio economic research, as part of the Stazione Futuro exhibition – Agenda Italia 2020 held in Turin, Italy. Project by ToDo, in collaboration with Michelle Nebbiolo and Miguel Cabanzo.

what. Experientia is an international experience design consultancy helping companies and organisations to innovate their products, services and processes by putting people and their experiences first.

what. Migropolis is a book that examines the traces of migration in the urban context of Venice, Italy. Developing new strategies of accessing and presenting information, the book dissects and analyzes the migration process in/to the city and defines it as an urban metaphor.

A contemporary data-driven digital storyteller, Aedo symbolizes an effort to develop a system that produce visualizations with a focus on the emotional meaning of the data rather than on the visual appeal of its representation. The application build phrases via semi-random selections of datasets, unfolding a visual tale whose numbers can be explored via simple interactions.

who. Known for their original songtitles and lyrics, their complete lack of identification with any of the traditional urban musical subcultures, and their corrosive sense of humor, Odioabotero has become one of the most original bands in Colombia’s recent history.

who. As part of its rejuvenation process started in 2008, The IUAV University of Venice asked for a redesign of the Design and Arts’ faculty website in order to reflect better the activities of its students and  appeal to a growing number of international audience.
